FlexVR

A hybrid mix of VR & telehealth application for people with chronic pain and busy schedule to do remote physical therapy training anytime and anywhere, providing users accurate instruction and feedback ,motivating  them by gamifying the repetitive PT experience.

Problem

The goal is to find a way to help people to do their PT exercise by turning a boring activity into an entertaining and creative experience. Healing VR puts people into a virtual environment, where each rep of movement brings a colored shape into play. The block comes towards you then you push it away so that it takes it place, like a tile on a wall like a mosaic. Each rep will be counted and rest time will be indicated. Once the full set of exercise is complete they will start again with a new design.

Having a visually stimulating, cumulative project will help them to complete their PT and rid themselves from pain . By incorporating VR into PT a whole new community will be introduced to new technology. This project is an example of how VR can be used for a practical purpose.

Users are also able to receive real-time instructions from their therapists remotely. And the health data generated by Flex VR will help users to measure, modify and improve their training. Our goal is to provide an efficient remote PT solution for people who have chronic pains, bridging the gap between patients and therapists.
